Milestone

We had a big milestone in our household this week...Hailey finally mastered riding a two-wheeler. She was so close last year before we traveled to China. Then, of course, things got a little crazy and Hailey wanted her training wheels back. So we did that for a while, then tried again and hit major frustration mode. After a bad fall, she completely lost interest. Finally, she mustard up some courage, tried her very best, had one bad wipe out, quickly recovered and was off on her own in about 20 minutes. She is still pretty creative when it comes to stopping and starting but she is having so much fun with the neighbor kids. We are so proud of her. This summer's theme has been "try your best" and we are so happy for Hailey. Mostly though, she is proud of herself and that is the best feeling in the world as a parent...seeing your child accomplish something is amazing.
